DESCRIPTION
This video shows the treatment of a deep carious lesion in a lower molar that also leads to a periapical lesion in the bone that surrounds the root apices. The video shows the removal of carious tissue in the coronal part with a turbine and in the root part with an endodontic file. This is followed by endodontic sealing and reconstruction of the clinical crown using composite. For the final restoration there are two treatment options: carving and prosthetic crown or root posts and composite reconstruction.
