How we work
Learn about Periopixel’s work process, from the planning to delivery.
We define
The 3d production process starts with an exhaustive task between the customer and our team in order to give the project the right approach. The customer will lead the project and will be in charge of validating every draft and render in order to modify the final video as desired.
In order the create the right script, we need to bear in mind every second of the production of the video we would like to produce, dimensions and characteristics of the scenes, type of devices and tools we would like to use, camara movements (frontal or section). A good planification is the key to optimize production timings.

We develop
Once the script is approved and accepted by both parts and the project is defined, our team, both the technical and medical department organizes de production process. We begin by preparing the model and adapting it to the specific clinical case.
The customer will have to approve or modify our creations daily by entering on the production folder that we will provide and examining our creation. It’s time to modify the scenes as desired because once we move forward on the production of the upcoming scenes, any modification on the approved scenes will mean weeks of work thrown to the trash, delivery dates modified and increases in budget.
We deliver
After every scene is modelled as desired, we render every scene so that the frames acquire the realistic look of the final graphics. We transform the model, textures, lighting, animations and dynamic simulations of the whole project to 2D images using a powerful render engine working 24/7.
To render a minute of video we need 144 hours of render work. Once the whole project is rendered we go to postproduction where we mount all the rendered frames, we compose the final image and we add music and animate subtitles, diagrams, logos, front cover and back cover.
